H.I.T.S. Demo Day May 31, 2008

HITS Demo day offers you the rare opportunity to gain first hand knowledge of training equipment, training techniques, canines and vendors of police service dogs. During our Demo Day you will be able to test and watch various training equipment and training systems in action. When training budgets are tight you need to make that purchase count, wouldn’t you feel better about your decision if you have seen the products in action, held them in your hands and even tested them yourself. Now you have that chance at HITS 2008.

The hardest thing to do in canine training is to pick the right dog. Many times handler’s, trainers and agencies are limited to one or maybe two vendors of police service dogs when there are hundreds of vendors across the United States. Why? The most frequent answer is cost. Who is going to pay for you to visit all of these vendors, get to know them and see the quality of the dogs they sell. Now you have that opportunity for free. HITS 2008 brings the police service dog vendors to you, take the time to meet the vendors, get to know them and see the quality of the dogs they produce. It is one thing to claim their dogs are the best now they can prove it to you. Even if purchasing a police service dog is not in your near future, now is your chance to be prepared. Compare and evaluate your current vendors with others from across the country and get the best dog for yourself and your agency.

H.I.T.S. Demonstration Day will be held at the Denver Federal Center located at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Kipling Streets. Please use the visitor entrance which is located just North of Alameda on Kipling.

Demonstrations by H.I.T.S. vendors will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 4:00 pm. A schedule of demonstrations will be provided in the H.I.T.S. event guide.

Transportation by coach bus will be provided by H.I.T.S. from the hotel to and from the Denver Federal Center demonstration site.

Food and beverages will be available at the demonstration site.
